Strategic Priorities for Ridley

Shaping Ridley’s Next Chapter

As we approach the conclusion of our current five-year strategic plan, “Leading with Heart,” we celebrate the remarkable progress our community has made in deepening our purpose, potential and connections. This milestone marks not only the culmination of a bold vision but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Ridley College.

This school year, we are launching a collaborative planning process to develop a new strategic plan that will guide Ridley into the future. Our goal is to chart a course that continues to inspire flourishing lives to transform our globe, ensuring Ridley’s legacy of excellence and service endures for generations to come.

Our Process

Ridley has partnered with Ian Symmonds, Founder and Chief Strategist at Ian Symmonds & Associates.

Ian Symmonds is a strategist, author, speaker and education activist. After 15 years in senior leadership roles at private schools, colleges and universities — driving enrolment growth and institutional turnarounds — he founded Ian Symmonds & Associates (ISA) in 2003.

Over the past two decades, Ian has advised more than 1600 clients, flown over four million air miles and gained a perspective on schools, colleges and nonprofits that few consultants globally can match.

Be Part of the Process

We will be hosting another Global Café — a Strategic Visioning Workshop for alumni, parents, staff, faculty, and students — led by thought-provoking guest speakers and designed to spark creativity and to discuss the evolving landscape of education through innovation, artificial intelligence, wellness, entrepreneurship and the boarding experience. They will be interactive, using breakout groups to brainstorm, share ideas, gather your feedback and explore bold possibilities as we build Ridley’s new five-year strategic plan.

Leading with Heart: The Strategic Priorities for Ridley

Leading with Heart” is an apt description of what the Ridley community aspires to, as set out in our current strategic priorities. This five-year plan is the result of an 18-month community conversation and strategic visioning process that included the voices of a diverse set of Ridley stakeholders.

In our inaugural year of “Leading with Heart,” the Ridley community has deepened its commitment to moving forward with our current Strategic Priorities. To keep our community informed about our progress, we've created this infographic that showcases the tremendous strides we've made on our journey.
