For your child to make the most out of their Ridley experience, there are a few items that we request you send with them at the start of the school year.
Uniforms
There are three ways for you to order your child’s uniform before arriving in September:
- Fill out our uniform package order form to receive every item your student needs for the school year. Uniform order forms open on July 21st and close on August 29th. Order your GIRLS uniforms for JK–Grade 3 or Grades 4–6. Order your BOYS uniforms for JK–Grade 3 or Grades 4–6. Note: Uniform orders will start being filled on July 30th.
- Book a uniform fitting appointment and purchase your items during the appointment. Between August 4th and 28th, your family can book a fitting appointment to ensure you purchase the correct size uniform.
- Order individual uniform items at www.shopridley.ca.
Here is our Lower School uniform policy.

Recycled Uniform Programme

We offer gently used, freshly cleaned uniform pieces, spirit wear, and other unique, gently used Ridley items. The boutique will open in late August. Please check back for exact dates.
School Supplies
Ridley will supply students with the vast majority of the supplies required for the school year. This includes pencils, colouring supplies, binders, notebooks, duotangs, dividers, page protectors, folders, paper, notecards, post-it notes, zipper bags, highlighters, protractors, scissors and glue.
Families are asked to purchase the following school supplies and label each item with your child's name:
- JK–Grade 1 students should bring a backpack, extra clothing, indoor shoes (black, preferably black soles), a water bottle (with a secure lid) and headphones (bluetooth or plug in).
- Grades 2–6 students should bring a backpack, pencil case, headphones (bluetooth or plug in), indoor running shoes (black, preferably black soles), a water bottle (with a secure lid) and extra clothing. In addition, Grades 5 and 6 students should also bring a lock for their locker if they are comfortable handling a combination code.
Technology
Ridley is a Microsoft Office 365 school that provides all necessary software for students. JK–Grade 6 students receive school-owned devices: iPads for JK–Grade 4 and Mac laptops for Grades 5–6. Students may bring their own laptops if they prefer.
